Josie was a very special girl, who in 2020 earned the crown of being our longest feline resident within the branch due to a significant health issue that she was plagued with following a horrific rescue by RSPCA Inspectors.
Luckily for Josie, she was finally adopted in June 2020 by a wonderful family looking to offer a home to the most in need. Sadly, Josie only had one year with her wonderful forever family before she succumbed to her long-term health issues, but in that time she was spoilt and received all the love and care she would have wanted both from within the branch, and her new family.
Josie holds a very special place in our hearts, and to mark this, we have established ‘Josie’s Legacy Gift Donation’ scheme, where kind donators can purchase items from our ‘wish list’ – whether that be from supermarkets, Pets at Home or Amazon to name but a few – and donate them to the animals in our branch for them to use and enjoy during their time with us.

If you would like to purchase something as part of Josie’s Legacy, please arrange to drop off your kind donation(s) at our office at St Mark’s Church Hall, Lincoln. Please mark the donation as ‘Josie’s Legacy’ so we know to deliver them to our animals in the private boarding establishments or foster homes.
