More information

Bear came to our branch on the 21st September 2025, however he was actually adopted from us back in 2023, unfortunately a change in circumstances mean this lad is now looking for his new forever home.

Bear is FIV positive, he was originally a stray so its thought he picked this up whilst on he streets – and he must be an only, indoor cat, though he could possibly live with other animals as the virus can only be spread between cats.

Our gorgeous gummy bear would be giving you a big smile to say hello, but unfortunately due to previous dental disease he only has 3 teeth left – but judging by how much he loves his food, you’d never be able to tell! He is very passionate (by this we mean vocal) and will not hesitate to remind you when dinner’s due!

Bear is super sweet and affectionate with everyone he meets, including children who would best suit him if they were older and cat-savvy, and he loves nothing more than curling up on your lap and getting a good fuss or sitting on a cushion in the sun.

Bear is on a specialized kidney-care diet to help him put on weight, but we can provide advice and support on this for any potential applicants.
