More information

Ophelia came to our branch on the 18th September 2025 – you may already be familiar with her story as she is one of the ‘Chip Shop Kittens’: https://www.lincolnshirelive.co.uk/news/local-news/heartbreak-after-ill-kittens-shoved-10654734

Unfortunately, all of the kittens were quite unwell and have feline calicivirus: as many as half of all infected cats may develop into carriers, meaning they could infect other cats so will need to be kept indoors and away from other cats when symptomatic. The disease cannot infect humans or other animals.

Despite it all, Ophelia is a typical young and playful kitten looking for her forever home after such a terrible start – could this be with you?
