Roscoe came into our branch on 7th August 2025 after his owner couldn’t look after him anymore.
He is such a lovely boy and is super affectionate! Sadly, Roscoe was kept in a very confined space and was used for breeding, so he is a bundle of energy and is now enjoying his new found freedom to the max. He is still a youngster, so he’d spend hours playing if you let him. He is full of life and very bouncy, but has calmed down since he has been with us.
Roscoe understands basic commands like “sit” and will give you his paw. However, he will need a patient owner whilst he continues to develop his social skills and work on his lead training. He is a strong lad, and has a big personality to match his big muscles.
We believe he is a crossbreed, and looks to have features of a staffy/bull breed, so may have some of their traits and we would advise anyone interested in adopting Roscoe to read up on these.
