Mixie and Teddy came to our branch on the 28th April 2025, after their previous owner fell ill and couldn’t look after them anymore.
They are looking for their retirement home together and have unfortunately been through quite a stressful time, so both are hoping for a quiet environment where they can take life at their own pace.
Teddy was completely matted when we took him in, unable to toilet properly so he had a full shave, he is a Pomeranian so will need someone to keep on top of his grooming requirements.
Mixie was previously quiet and withdrawn, however since having the time to settle in properly, she has really come into her own: Teddy protects her and they make a sweet little duo! Mixie will need regular check-ups with a vet as she has a Grade 4 heart murmur: this is just to ensure that it doesn’t cause any other issues as she is perfectly happy and energetic in herself!
