More information

Toppa is a really lovely dog with a huge heart – he’s unfortunately been with us for almost a year now through no fault of his own, and we’re keen to see him settled into the loving environment he deserves!

We recommend that Toppa gets rehomed to a person with big dog experience, as he hasn’t had much training and is incredibly strong. He really enjoys people and social interactions, and engages well in situations with other dogs – his progress in the kennels has been astounding. He did previously live with another dog, but again, due to his strength and size, he may be easier to look after as the only dog in the household.

His ideal home would also be with no young children, purely due to his size: he is completely fine behaviour-wise, but due to his strength, we would recommend older children or even adults only.

Toppa is very sociable but prefers to play with bigger dogs. He is still young and untrained, so would ideally need a large garden so he can run free.

He can be left alone for short periods perfectly fine and he does love his food and treats, which does help with his training!

There are videos of Toppa that I’ve shared on social media on our Facebook page and Instagram on the 21st January, 31st January and 18th March 2024. (RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid & Lincoln and @rspcalincoln)
