More information

Rosie came to our branch on the 11th September 2024.

Unfortunately, her previous owners didn’t provide her with the care she needed, so she came to us with itchy skin from untreated fleas – but is much better now!

She is a very bouncy and energetic dog who is looking for owners to give her plenty of attention and play! She has lived with older children and other dogs before, and is super friendly so would make an excellent family pet.

Rosie has dry eyes, which isn’t severe at the moment, but could need medication in future to prevent scarring from occurring.

Rosie is an English Cocker Spaniel, meaning that she may exhibit these breed traits:

  • English Cocker Spaniels have incredible stamina, energy and intelligence, making them a great dog for families as they are energetic and trainable.
  • These dogs are people-pleasers, and crave human company so will need someone who is around a good part of the day.
  • As they have so much energy, Cocker Spaniels love having a wide array of activities to keep them busy – long walks, games of fetch and chase, and swimming to name a few!
  • These dogs need an absolute minimum of around an hour of exercise a day, and plenty of mental stimulation to boot.
