More information

Minky is one of Kiara’s puppies, who was born under RSPCA care on the 30th March 2024.

She is your typical puppy – full of energy and in need of training! She is very sweet in nature, though will still get up to mischief and mayhem.

Please be aware – visits to the puppies will be short as they aren’t fully vaccinated and are still very young.

Minky is a staffordshire bull terrier crossbreed, so here are some things you should know:

  • Staffordshire bull terriers are kind and gentle animals, although they do tend to have a stubborn streak so need a firm leader
  • Training a staffordshire bull terrier is relatviely easy if they are willing to learn – Minky will need some house training and plenty of playtime, as dogs can get destructive when bored
  • Staffies are companion dogs, so don’t do well when left alone for too long, especially so since Minky is still so young
  • Staffies usually have short coats, meaning they are low-maintenance when it comes to grooming – however depending on the crossbreed aspect of the puppies’ lineage, this may differ
  • Staffordshire bull terriers are loyal and protective pets, and will do well in a busy environment with plenty to keep them entertained
