More information

Harry came to our branch on the 23rd February 2024. He was  abandoned in a flat with a dog, and there was another cat with him, but unfortunately that one passed away. We are not sure how well he got on with the other animals, however we can tell for sure that he’s an extremely friendly cat!

Since he came into our care, we’ve found out that Harry has an affinity for water: he’s always fiddling with his water bowl and splashing (we’ve had to ensure he has a non-spill bowl). He even dunks his toys in, so they can have a taste of the action!

He is very energetic, loving fuss and wanting to play most of the time, therefore we think he’ll be best suited in a home either with someone who can devote a lot of time to keeping him busy, or someone with another cat so he has a playmate. He really gets in the zone when playing with toys, so may accidentally scratch – for this reason, we also think he’d be better off with older children or none at all. He also needs some more training on using his litter tray, but he’ll get there!

Harry isn’t shy at all, he vocalises and loves attention and fuss. It’s not quite visible in his pictures, but he’s also got absolutely beautiful markings, where his coat is splattered with white splodges.
