More information

Asimov is a beautiful pedigree Ocicat who came to the RSPCA in the middle of April 2024. He’s quite picky, liking turkey, chicken and fish flavoured foods – but he’s not too keen on beef.

He struggled to adjust to sharing his space with young children, and so his previous owner chose to rehome him in the hopes that he will thrive in a calmer environment that can provide him with plenty of playtime and fuss. Unfortunately, he did get a bit bitey with the children, but this was due to stress – at vet visits he freezes rather than acting aggressively, so we hope a new home with older children or adults will do him a world of good.

Since coming to our branch, he’s given us all a scare by swallowing some of his toys, so this little rascal needs keeping an eye on to ensure he doesn’t get up to too much mischief. He loves to chew on fluffy toys but luckily doesn’t seem to be interested in soft furnishings!

We’re not quite sure whether he would be happy living with another cat or with dogs. Asimov is litter trained and generally travels well.
