We appreciate any donation at all, however big or small, because every penny makes a difference to an animal in need.  We are made up of volunteers + 1 part time member of staff to run our shop, care for our cats and rabbits and raise all the funds we need.  We have to raise enough funds for all the veterinary care our animals need, and to kennel the 120+ dogs we have cared for this year.  Contrary to popular belief, RSPCA branches are not swimming with money!  Our branch has been very close to closure more than once in the last few years.  If you care about animals in need, please do not let this happen by making a small donation.  THANK YOU.

One off donation: Send a cheque/postal order/credit card donation by post. Our address as above.

Regular donation: Give through your bank through a regular automated payment- this allows a more effective use of your money as it cuts administration costs.
Direct debits in particular save time and paperwork. Why not set up a small donation via direct debit of just £3 or £4 a month.

Membership: Become a member of this branch of the RSPCA. Anyone over the age of 17 is eligible for membership. There is also junior membership for young people aged 7 to 17.

GIFT AID

As a tax payer, you can increase any donation with no cost to yourself by using Gift Aid. For every £1 you give, the charity will receive an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue. It can apply to donations of any amount or method of payment. A single gift aid declaration can be applied to all past donations made since April 2000.  Please ask us for a Gift Aid form. 

(Higher rate taxpayers can also reclaim as much as £23 for themselves for every £100 they donate to charity by including details of their Gift Aid donations on their Self Assessment form.)

BEQUESTS & OUR REGISTERED CHARITY NUMBER 

Did you know that you can leave this branch a donation as a legacy?. The RSPCA is a trust organisation so is able to act as an executor and administer your estate without charging a fee. The RSPCA’s legacy department has fully qualified staff that can also see to the welfare of any animals that may survive you. You can specify whether you want the National RSPCA or a local branch to benefit from your legacy. We are always extremely grateful to people who think of the RSPCA when they are making their wills. If you wish your bequest to be used for the value of local animals, it is essential that the wording used be unambiguous. YOU MUST QUOTE THE CHARITY NUMBER OTHERWISE THE LEGACY WILL NOT REACH THIS BRANCH

For a bequest to be made to the local branch, the following wording should be used:

"I bequeath to the RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid and Lincoln Branch CHARITY NUMBER 224482  the sum of £*** free of all duties and taxes payable at my death and I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer for the time being of the said Branch shall be sufficient discharge to my trustees."

RECYCLING CARTRIDGES & MOBILE PHONES 

Help the RSPCA and the environment by donating your old empty printer cartridges and mobile phones.

The RSPCA will receive £1 for each cartridge and up to £10 for every mobile phone successfully recycled. All you have to do is return your empty cartridges and mobile phones in a FREE recycling envelope.
